The Kicker is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Australian Football League, any AFL or AFLW club, Champion Data, or any broadcaster. All trademarks referenced are the property of their respective owners.

Accuracy

We go to significant effort to ensure the statistics, player records, and analysis on this site are correct, but we cannot guarantee accuracy. Stats are sourced from third parties (see the data page); errors in the source propagate here. If you spot a mistake, email us at hello@kicker.au and we'll correct it.

KICK Rating is a derived statistical measure and a matter of analytical opinion. It is not the AFL's official player rating system.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is financial, betting, fantasy, or professional advice of any kind. Do not base any wager or decision on content from this site. We publish analysis; you make your own calls.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape the site at rates that would degrade service for other users.
• Republish KICK Rating values in bulk without attribution and a link back to kicker.au.
• Use the site or its content in a way that breaches Australian law.

Reasonable fair-use citation of KICK Rating values (a handful in an article, a podcast mention) is welcomed, and we'd love a link.

Intellectual property

The KICK Rating formula (v1), our written analysis, page layouts, logos, and brand assets are © The Kicker and may not be reproduced in whole without permission. Underlying raw statistics are facts and not protected as our IP.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from use of the site. Use at your own risk.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
